Having a puppy is cutting into my swimming time. I wish I could take him to the pool with me. There are people at the pool that swim in their clothes. And I don't just mean they have a t-shirt on over their suit. I've seen girls get in with their jeans and shirt on. Or capri pants and shirt. Just fully clothed and they get in the pool. Since when is it okay to do that at a public pool? And I have yet to see an adult working at the pool. Everyone there is 18 and under, from the looks of it. The only thing they blow their little whistle for is running and hanging on the lane lines. The next kid that swims across my lane while I'm swimming is going to get their neck stepped on.

Last night Milo and I went to the park, did I already write about this? He's such a trooper. He gets very sassy with leaves and likes to put them in their place. He also likes telling my feet what to do, I think because they're shorter than him. He's started barking and likes to bark at me when I tell him to do something like "stop chewing on my foot" or "don't chew on my books". He barks AND turns his head, both telling me off and ignoring me. I have to stop thinking it's cute or he'll grow into a bully. I wish there was a dog park nearby so he could be dominated a little by older dogs. My friend's dog did snap at him the other day when Milo bit him, and that type of behavior could help him stop biting.

I'm really tired today, but not sure why. My butt's been dragging, figuratively and literally, since I got up this morning. Milo only woke up around 2:30am to go out, so it's not like I was up with him all night. I need to go home and take a nap before I go to sleep.
